When a parent, caregiver or a stranger whether through action or failure to act, causes injury, exploitation, emotional or physical harm to the child, it is known as child-abuse and it can scar the emotional and psychological state of the abused.

Empathetic counseling becomes exceedingly important to restore the TRUST in life and people, of the abused child (who may be adult now) to lead a normal and healthy life.

Different ways of Child Abuse:

  • – Feeling afraid of something or somebody.
  • – Sleep disorders due to constant apprehension
  • – Lack of concentration due to an impending threat.
  • – Nervousness.
  • – Fear of darkness

If you or anyone you know has suffered or is experiencing child abuse, contact an experienced psychologist immediately.
