Video counselling

This service enables clients to participate in counselling sessions with a counsellor live over the Internet using a web cam. This service is intended for those who would prefer in home or in-office counselling sessions but like to communicate not over the telephone, but in a face-to-face fashion. It is ideal for remotely-located or virtual clients, as well as for those who travel frequently, or whose personal situations make it challenging for them to attend in-person sessions.

A person can request video counselling by contacting us through phone or by submitting a request online through our website. Once we receive your request, we study it and decide if video counseling would be a appropriate mode of support. Once we find it fit for video counseling, we will send you an email to the client containing general information about the service.

Appointment emails will contain details about the booked session (time and date) as well as a unique link to click on to launch that particular session.

Clients may discuss virtually any type of issue via video counselling, from family issues to stress management, work challenges to concerns about emotional state, etc. However, video counselling is not an appropriate way to access support if a client is struggling with certain types of addictions or experiencing domestic violence.

Video counselling is also not appropriate if a client is experiencing a personal crisis in which he/she may be at risk of self-harm, at risk of harming someone else, or in any other kind of emergency situation. In the event of a personal crisis or emergency, a client should come for personal counseling at our clinic or any other psychologist/counselor in his/her city.
